About me

I'm Yajuan Zeng, I live in Bellevue and I've been learning at Seattle Central College for three quarters. During my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and playing soccer in this evergreen State when it's not raining. I'm a big fan of Sci-fi, my favorite authors including Arthur C. Clarke, Ted Chiang and Cixin Liu. A pretty cool thing is that I found Ted Chiang actually lives in Bellevue, the same small city as me! That adds some excitement to my life. And I love playing video games! Zelda is my current favorite game!

My professional goals

I earned a bachelor's degree in engineering in my home country China. After I learned some Java, I discovered my passion for coding and decided to switch my career path. My goal is to secure a job in IT field after I completing all my classes here. However, it's challenging to find a job in current IT job market. So, if I can't get a job, I may consider further education. I believe that continuous learning is essential for both personal and professional growth, especially in the field of computer science.
