Hello, my name is Zhan Hostetler. I was born in China but was adopted and brought to the States as an infant. About a month ago, I decided I needed a change of environment and decided to move to Seattle. This is my first quarter at Seattle Central College, and I think I'm most interested in pursuing web development.
Interests
I used to work in a library when I was in middle and high school, so it's my dream to work at one again professionally! There is so much valuable work that goes into it. I knew I wanted to do something with technology and be able to help people somehow.
The picture to the right is of my dad's 1951 F1 Ford pickup that I learned how to drive manual stick shift. I'm not that knowledgeable about cars, but watching him fix it up over the years with both excitement and patience is something I'll always look up to.
